Gene Therapy Study Published

We leverage gene therapy (blue spots) to treat myocardial infarction (brown region) via catheter-mediated direct injection of the heart.

Our preclinical gene therapy studies in pigs reveal that targeting the Hippo Kinase pathway, a “stop growth” gene network, in failing hearts is a promising strategy for promoting tissue repair and functional recovery during heart failure in humans.
